I guess my trash can was too heavy for the truck to lift and it spilled everywhere. Kudos to the driver for hopping out to stand it up and clean it up but now I'm in a bind with it

 

Can't get a new can? What did you put in there?

 

I can get a new can dropped off in 3 weeks LOL

I guess there is a 50lb limit, I thought it was higher and didn't think about throwing parts from a broken office chair and wood scraps on top of all of the household trash I threw away.

Guess I can just pile trash in the bed of the truck until I can make a dump run

Huh, would have never guessed, our cans can easily support 200lbs or so and I've seen the guy lift more with the arm. They just swap our cans every other year anyway so it's never so weathered.

Yeah... I've never had an issue before. I'm wondering if they changed something to disallow the hydraulics from being capable of more than the 50 lb limit.

A basic ram should be capable of MUCH more than that... on that note I drove the crawler with the new hydro lines last night and it's a whole new truck. I didn't drive it more than around the block but it doesn't seem to be aerating or puking fluid like it was before nor does it have a hard pull to one side. I always assumed the pull was an alignment/tire/bent axle issue. I'm guessing the old hydro line had a pinhole leak for quite a while that would puke or pull air depending on the direction the wheel was turned....time will tell.

 

There's an abandoned trash can in the alley behind my house. It's been sitting on its side for at least a year. $5 finders fee and it's yours.

 

I got a new baffled reservoir with 2x the volume to put in but I doubt that will be happening soon. I might just send it back and buy it again after the move
