I’ve seen a few posts of people getting more lift than expected from the RXT leaf pack. I’m looking for no more than 2 inches with sliders and a shell on my 3rd gen OR AC, and can’t decide between stage 1 or 2.

How much lift did you get over stock?
    Stage 1/2/3?
How much extra weight do you have out back?

    Gracias mucho

stage 1 no weight 3 inches. back in the day i was stage 2 with 600 pounds and got 1.5-2 inches of lift.

If all you have is shell over the rear axle ide do option 1.

So, you already have the weight on the back of your truck? Are you wanting 2" of lift over where it is now or 2" over stock? I have a 2018 DCLB with sliders, canopy and recovery junk in the back. I rolled over a free scale on a slightly loaded day trip and had a rough weight of 3150 in front, 2800 in back and 5900 total. I know that doesn't add up but these are just notes I took while trying to make the same decision (and a rough scale with rounding involved).

I ended up going stage 2. With an empty bed I ended up with about 3.5" over the previous saggy height. I believe that is about 2" over stock but I didn't have stock measurements for my truck around to verify (I've also misplaced the notepad with axle to fender measurements so this is off memory). I ended up with a bit of rake because I wasn't lifting the front much at all. When I load up for camping the back drops a bit over an inch and I ride comfortable and about level.

I guess the take away from my tale is remember that if you are already a little saggy you might be surprised how much lift you get.

Well, the cool thing about the RXT package is that you get all of the parts at the same time to tailer your setup as needed.

You can throw on the Stage 1 setup at first and see how it does with your current truck build for a while. Then if you add more weight, or find it is too low or soft for ya, you can always simply swap out the leaf for the Stage 2 setup.

I'm thinking that's probably what i'll do... Just trying to get it right the first time because I don't have a garage right now, so its inconvenient to take everything apart and redo it.

Thanks, I've read through that entire thread while waiting for my shocks. I thought I was set on stage 2, but I've read a few posts (like the one above) where people say they get 3 inches on stage 1, so now I'm not sure.
