i just run 87, getting anywhere from 18.5 to 21.3. that's driving all backroads to work about a 30min drive.

I've never had anything but 87 octane in my 07. Plenty of power, no issues in 14 years and 217,000 miles.

Filled up today and got 17.3 for mostly local daily driving. On road trips I usually get just under 20mpg. Have hit 22-23 a couple of times under ideal conditions.

The weight of your foot might have more of an impact on your MPG than the octane you use.

If I run 87 I get 17-18 mpg. If I run 93 I get 19-20 and if I run 100% gas I get 21-22. I have a 80-90 mile per day commute. About 80% interstate. No major changes in the way I drive. So the better quality gas I use the better gas mileage. I fill up 2-3 times per week. 20210730_185833.jpg

I also noticed better MPGs with E0 gas.

If I filled up twice a week, my monthly gas bill would’ve been 840$ a month:eek:
Thankfully I have a company van during the week.

Unless you're tuned for something else, there's really no reason to run anything but 87.

Thankfully it's bot that bad yet. About $40-55 each time to fill up depending on grade of fuel I use.

I've had the truck 39 days. I've put 3350+ on it, which averages 85 miles a day, 7 days a week. The truck was down for maintenance for about 5 days so it actually averages more than that lol. But I love it so far.
