Same displacement, but with 2 fun snails attached. Plus a hybrid drivetrain option with a big ass electric assist that puts out something like a combined 700 lb/ft at a low RPM, according to rumors. :benchpress:

If the rumors are true the thing is gonna be pretty monstrous. People talk shit on hybridization but they don't realize electric motors hit peak torque at 0 RPM, combine that with the torque added by a turbo & cover the lag with the aforementioned electric boost... it's fun.

No replacement for displacement. End of discussion. Boost counts

I know there's no replacement for the sound of ICE but it's all fun and games until you get dumpstered by an electric...

The motor technology, for the most part, has always been there, it's just that our energy storage sucked balls compared to a tank full of liquid dinos.

My truck would probably get smoked by a stock 4cyl. It has all the ambiance of being fast with the noise and vibrations, but all the weight and big tires to make it actually slow

Heard that. The days of gapping tuners and owning at the Sand Drags are gone.

I dunno it’s not something I am eager for just yet but I can definitely see myself in a few years getting an all electric luxury/sports type car for commuting…

And if someone in a V6 Camaro gets uppity I can ask them if they want some cries with their gappy meal.

No additional air was added to your tires. The pressure inside the tire changed (by 1 psi) because the temperature of the air in the tires changed. Pressure is directly related to temperature.

You're tire pressure is too low across the board. If you're still on OEM style rubber, air up to 35 psi.

    This ^.

Why you see so many people flooding discount tire and the tire pumps at gas stations during winter time. As well as when you use a can of air, it gets cold and condensation.

That’s 35psi cold as well. Need to be consistent and set tire pressure under similar conditions every time. Pressure will change probably 5-7psi if not more during the summer down in phx just from morning cold tires to driving around in the afternoon. It’s why people use tire warmers on super bikes to keep things consistent. Ours would get the tires up to 200* F before we set pressures to keep them as close to operating temp on the track as possible

This is another good point. Except for the fact that there ain't no such thing as a 'cold' morning in Phx in the summer. Haha. Headed off to the gym at 5 am everyday and it's still 90 degrees outside!

Yes, will be ready to not be sweating before I even hit the doors to my gym in the morning.

I definitely appreciated having them during the quarantine. Being able to go to the gym was about the only thing that kept me sane before the wedding last year. haha.

On a serious note, I have no complaints, other than the chick with the subaru that tried to total my truck because she likes to cut across parking lots. Packers fans, am I right? :bananadead:

Well someone stole the Trasharoo off the back of my truck, parked in front of my townhouse in Flagstaff last night. If anyone sees it pop up on facebook marketplace please let me know, I dont have Facebook. Ill be scouring craigslist and filing a police report. One of my neighbors a few doors down has a camera so hopefully that will help. I know these things arent expensive, its the principle.

Looks exactly like the picture below, obviously. Slightly faded tan color and has a roll of clear, medium size trash bags inside as well as a couple bottle caps in the outer bottom pockets.

Sorry to hear that, I'll keep an eye out.

Unfortunately, I have had past friends who have had issues in the place that you live in. E30 parts being stolen off of their cars in the parking lot, and even a bike that was locked to a bike carrier that someone tried to steal.

Yeah this place is a dump. Going to put up a camera and move out asap. Just waiting for the right place to buy.
