Do you have to tether your phone for those things to get internet?

Edit: nvm, I see the LTE icon. So do you pay for another device plan with your carrier?

 

That's just connecting my phone via USB.

Awesome. I've been waiting for this update ever since AA opened up maps to third party devs.

 

So my axle can breathe

 

A ton of decluttering, cleaning, trash, and lost sleep got me to the part where they take the pictures.

I even got the yard somewhat whipped into shape

 

Did it not work on Android auto before? I've had it on my phone for at least a year

 

Nope.

The update released just some +2 weeks ago.

I saw an ad on IG about it and so I looked for an update and sure enough, there it was.

Would've helped if I knew right @Taco-Obsessed @outxider

We took turns being lead after the first obstacles.

LOL...so i have Gaia with Apple Carplay but haven't familiarize myself with the app yet.

 

If everything works out I may just have to order one of those 2 post lifts I've been eyeing

 

I haven't either, at least when it comes to creating routes and what not.

But what I do love about it is;

you can import/export map files allowing you to modify them either on phone, tablet, or even your PC via the web.

When you set waypoints, you can not only attach a description, you can pull coordinates in long/lat as well as MGRS. You can also attach a picture to each waypoint too.

Last but not least, you can download maps (which I do often) in the event that you travel to an area that provides no cell signal.

The fact that there are multiple overlays (topo maps and more) available to choose from allows you to see specific fire/forest roads, normal roads, and more.

Some of us used Gaia when we met up in Moab, and I've used it myself in some parts of Los Padres, Mendocino, Sequoia NF, as well as backpacking in Oregon.

 

Definitely gonna read/watch videos on it. Will be more prepared for next time.
