    .250 seconds would be an EXCEPTIONAL result. IIRC average reaction times are going to be much closer to 1.5-2 seconds. We humans suck at driving, a lot.

    2 seconds? In drag racing you go on the last amber light which is .5 seconds before the green. That half a second is you reacting AND the car reacting.

    I drive right lane in my Tacoma, usually cruise set at 70. My previous ride was a built Mazdadpeed 3, scary fast. It was suppose to gear out around 165 but I never found out since it would start getting floaty around 140 and I would lift. I spent a lot of time carving up mountain roads down at Deals Gap were the speeds rarely exceed 75. Car was 430 whp and only 3,000 lbs. I've done race car and now want to overland and offroad.

    I was able you take my ex boss’s 91 Toyota Supra twin turbo back when I was in high school for prom weekend and I got that thing up to 145 no problem

    Indeed the I-4 and V6 could go faster, but the stock ECU governs drive-able speed at ~118mph...which for all intents and purposes is at the top RPM on 4th gear...:burnrubber:
