Thinking of ordering some spidertrax spacers. 1.25" thick. I like the look of the stock wheels tires with them, gives it a more aggressive looking stance.
Would be using them on my 2011 4x4 DC.

So, I want to get some feedback from those that use them.

Good, bad or ugly, chime in with your thoughts.

    Thanks! :D

They keep the tires on. It gives the little bit of extra clearance I wanted.

I have them on mine and give the truck the correct stance imo. They are great quality and you get what you pay for. Just make sure you install them correctly, so use the supplied Loctite, torque them down to the correct spec and re-check the tightness after break-in per the manual as well as every so often and you're good. Keep in mind you may have do so some trimming inside the front wheel wells.

Here is a thread that I made with lot's of pics after I got them on installed, http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/121454-got-my-spidertrax-spacers-pics.html

Smoke headlights, improved LED tail lights...Pending: De-chrome badges and grille, new tires
Do these effect mileage at all?

might want to check the laws about tires protruding past your fenders. Here in VA it's illegal, though I haven't heard anyone actually getting ticketed.

Front (2.75" total): 1.6" Eibach coils, Toytec 0.5" (L) & 0.25" (R) top plate spacers, 5100's @ 0.85", Built Right uniball UCA's, Differential drop, Removed sway bar Rear: TSB springs, Wheeler's 1.5" AAL, 5100's, 2* shims, Carrier bearing drop, F and R Spidertrax, 285/75-16 Goodyear Duratracs, Self-fabbed sliders, rear bumper, and skid plates, Cobra 75 CB, Bed lined slim lo-pro tool box, Bed Extender, Diff breather mod, Two tail gate security mods, Exhaust dumped behind axle, Can't leave shit alone so plenty more coming...
I've had mine on over a year and love them. Kick the stance out for a nice look and a slightly increased rollover angle. They also allow 285's to fit on stock rims.

Check my pictures. I have a few before and afters.

kinkrider101, you should put some more loctite on those lugs. Loctite isn't considered reusable. You're probably fine but I'd redo it for peace of mind.

One good reason I can think of for using these (with stock wheels) is to allow clearance for running tire chains. I can't run tire chains with the stock set up, even with a 235/85-R16 tire there isn't enough clearance with the front suspension. I'd like to have a set of these spacers and some tire chains to do more winter exploring but for now they're on the wish list.
