I'm a graphic designer and I love my Tacoma, so as I was browsing around for some decals, I thought to myself, why not just design one myself? What do you guys think?

I like the idea your going for. But I recently debadged my entire TRD OR. I like the clean look.

    Ha good eye

OP I actually like it. The cool thing is that it is one of a kind, and you designed it. That’s the direction I went as its nice to be able to distinguish yourself from the other gazillion Tacomas out there

Did you recently trade in a red renegade on that SR5 Touring edition?

Looks good. Only thing I would change is the end of the graphic closest to the front (fuel door) the angle make me think of the Chevy Bowtie.

It looks good and you should do what suits you. I like that it's one-off, and your design. I think people will look twice.

I saw a picture of your truck elsewhere on TW and thought it was really cool. Great color, and your own design on the graphics make it stand out!

I like it, especially the mountains sitting in that recessed part at the bottom!

The only thing I'd recommend from a design perspective is lining up the lines of the descender on the T to the main line of the E. Then obviously adjust the kerning so that it's all even between the letters of "Edition."

    Untitled-1.jpg

One thing I did on my custom graphics is make two versions of my decals, one for each side of the truck, where the text was justified to the right on the right side, and to the left on the left side. Just a suggestion, could either cause you an unnecessary hassle or could end up making the design look better!

I like it. It's custom but looks clean enough to be OEM.

    All the things!
    Here's my solicited advice...

Remove the front two sections of decal, so that the design seems more aggressive and square up the rear stripe to match the top of the decal and not leave an open space at the rear. Matching the angle of the tail light line is critical here. I see a lot of these decals, where that line doesn't match the angle and it looks wonky.
