nice looking lake but lots of people there when @ODSC1, a fellow jeep, and myself ran through.
these are at least 3 of the many camp sites i know of.
    upload_2021-8-12_8-19-41.jpg

you may ask "but why is there 4 marks and not 3?"
blue is a nice looking spot but people drag trailers into there but right beside the water
Magenta is a really small (tight for 3 trucks) spot right off the water's edge.
Green is a large open clearing
yellow is where we stayed at, seemed like an old boat launch with room on one side to camp at. The road sorta dead-ends but was blocked by culvert work and really only nimble ATVs could get through.

Spending a few days at the cottage up by tobermory then heading over to algonquin. It's been over 30 years since I was there. So I guess I'm a newbie going in. We will definitely be bringing the bikes but not the kayaks

Are you going to do the ferry to manitoulin and through sudbury, or driving down the other way?

We are going to come down 6. We have been to Sudbury a couple times. Nothing really worth stopping for on that route. I Really wanted my wife to see superior but with the fires and smoke, she doesn't want to take any chances.

Canoe rentals in the Area? I will have the truck camper on and I don't have a way to bring the kayaks. But I would get a canoe foe a few days

there are a few places that can drop off a canoe and kayak for you.
i'm fairly certain there is a trailer that goes to each site every day if not every other back when i was a kid.
this one operates within Algonquin; https://www.opeongooutfitters.com/delivery.html
    this is another; https://portagestore.com/outfitting/campground-delivery/

i have never used either as i have 2 canoes since i was a kid.

Anyone interested in an Orangeville - Creemore run on Monday Aug 16?

@19Canuck and I are starting in Orangeville and taking all the road allowances we can up to the Creemore area then back a different route. Everything will be stock friendly. Besides the road allowances the scenery is pretty nice up that way.

If you're interested in taking Monday off we'll meet at the Tim Hortons in Orangeville at hwy10 and 5th ave at 10:30.

I’ve been eagerly waiting that Cape York episode in the 47 series. Bone stock, open diffs, 50-years old.:drunk:

I doubt it. Ive already recognized an electric sled wouldn’t meet my current needs.
Maybe id consider one if i was one of those people that considered 100km in a day to be a lot.

Besides, with no exhaust where would i put my muff pot to warm up some pizza pops?

I am not exactly sure what they do for your rig... Please explain to a pleb.
