I think at this rate, given the markets …. Well given the market I feel like it’s going to come down to what leaf sets I’ll even be able to find in stock.

Yeah I hear that. I talked to HEadstrong about it recently and they said they keep a few sets of Deavers on order, so the lead times are usually better since they are already in the pipeline. But still they told me expect a month or two wait.

That’s good to know, I appreciate it man. I expect I’ll start ordering in October and won’t get her installed til December-ish. Here’s to hoping the Deavers are quiter!

Its a lot like taking pictures. You pick up a bucket or two of rocks, bring them home. Clean them up. Pick out the best one; and maybe show it off if it's good enough and store the rest, maybe trash some of them. Unlike pictures, which store neatly on a drive, rocks end up in piles around your yard, stacked on shelves and piled in buckets in your basement, and throwing them away consists of dumping them at the end of the driveway and wait for the vines to grow over them.

But yeah I could sell them if I got around to it. They have rock shows where you can set up a booth, you can sell them on ebay.. and I started a website for it but just haven’t taken it much further. I have way more fun finding them than thinking about cleaning them up and selling. I do have thousands of dollars worth of lapidary equipment I use two or three times a year when I am not busy building out or fixing my toyotas…

1606.1 miles later I am at my first camp in Wyoming. Drive time 23.34 hours and average speed was 68mph.

Averaged about 12.63 mpg with the most expensive gas here in WY at 3.79 a gallon. The cheapest gas was knoxville at 2.84, and most of the stops were just under $3. I filled up 9 times averaging about $42.48 per fill up. Averaged 15.9 gallons per fill up.

my weight is right about 6900lbs.

Well I sit at about 6000 empty-ish: full Armor, swing out rear bumper, fill size spare, as fiberglass cap, and drawer slide in bed. I considered taking off my skids for the trip but that would be just my luck to bust my oil pan or something.
