‘Dad Shred build thread’ double locked & 5:29’s SOLD, now 2014 tundra cm TRD OR

I returned the single KMC that I purchased because they’re discontinuing the km233 and there were only 3 left to order and they’re just too rich for my blood. Nice alloy beadlocks are just so expensive so I’m going to run these bad boys once I can order a few more.

 

Where did you find/what brand are these? Been looking at getting a new wheel setup

 

Allied makes some alloy ones, race line has some sick ones for only $193 ea

I am wanting beadlocks! But I am in the same boat where I find most beadlocks to be waaay to pricy for something I am just going to beat the living hell out of haha

Thank you sir, I’m going to have a very minimal, but strong, high and tight front winch bumper built soon thanks to the @WarFab Armor front chop kit I just got. This will relocate the low hanging front crossmember and tuck a winch and tube bumper up high & tight.

 

Oooooo I like it! Got a new front bumper ordered same kinda style! Did you get someone to bend up all the pipe?

 

I have been very patient w these goodies just sitting here. Hopefully will have front bumper built by end of the month

 

Moved my spare & HD bottle Jack to the back of the bed for quite a few reasons. This will work better for me & the truck rides better with 100-200 lbs just behind the rear axle in the bed with these particular leafs.

 

My clear coat is definitely failing on the truck but I cleaned her up pretty good for the first time in a month or so. Will be ordering tires for my new wheels and getting my front bumper done ASAP. She cleans up nice, these pics hide the excessive pinstripes all over

 

This is the best worst decision I’ve ever made.

 

I can almost smell the rubber through the screen! Looks good. How have you been liking those rear bilsteins and the FN wheels? They are on my to-do list.

 

No complaints w the Bilsteins they are fantastic and ride great. The wheels are great too and very lightweight. The outer rim has been chipping with hard impacts wheeling aired down

 

37's......wow.....those have to be heavy as hell

 

did you go with bushings for the eyelet of the bilsteins or metal spacers?

 

Actually not much more than many guys w 35’s and beadlocks. I know because I’ve purchased and weighed 3 different beadlocks hahahaha. 120lbs wheel and tire. Not bad. I know a guy with KMC alloy $500 beadlocks and 35’s and he’s at 110 lbs. also - It’s like everything I do to the truck - it’s a give & take

 

Just machined down some misalignment spacers that fit it snug in there. Was a pain to get just right

 

Are you going to run the 37s with stock length uca and lca?
