You go to diamond hill at all? I've been there once when I was still working on getting my fitness in check and dogged it the whole day - want to hit it up again and try to enjoy what it has to offer without hating life.

Lincoln Woods is on my short list and planning on spending a day there once the cooler weather starts to settle around a bit. Not a fan of elevation climbs in the humid swamp weather (also hate catching a breath and being swarmed by mosquitos). Let me know if you are ever in the Douglas area - the state forest is my usual stomping grounds.

Hit up Kingdom Trails in May and fully got to enjoy the weather. Did a 21 mile loop the first day around on the north side of Burke Mountain (Black Bear, Stormin Normin, etc). Next day was spent around Darling Hill. Its amazing how well maintained/flowy the trails are and how easy the miles can come over there.

Foxboro state forest is a nice place to go too. Fire roads to tight single-track

Santa village yesterday, Clark's bears today. Also placed a large Amazon order which includes rear coil springs for the infiniti. There's a leak in the air suspension somewhere. Dealer couldn't find it, I couldn't find it..... aftermarket and fb groups to the rescue lol.

Southern NH can't be that much further if you're in Wilbraham. Or maybe it is, either way worth it.

....Climb? Bro, it's RI. The highest point is like 850 ft above sea level

Not Diamond hill. I've hit Lincoln Woods, Big River (I'd recommend Big River over anything else in RI).

Yeah the trail up there are "real" trails, down here it's mediocre. Still good for being close but damn, up there is a whole new world. @honda50r I gotta get down to Knoxville too. Didn't happen this year but probably will plan on it for early next year. Hit up Knoxville earlier than NEK before the bugs get too bad.

    :(

Yeah hit me up for southern NH too. I know some stuff up further north like, Franconia Notch up there north, not "I went to Concord that's north right?!", and VT. But not so much southern NH.

Okay that might be a lie - I know a few small spots, nothing the size of the RI spot even. The RI spot wasn't amazing but it was nice for being 45 minutes away and trying out some new stuff or whatever.

If you DO go, I wouldn't go on the weekends during the summer. Rumors have been around that people are getting arrested out there, turned around, etc after this past winter's shenanigans.

yeah, it's been a rough year for trail closures.

RI spot - donezo. Supposedly. I have seen videos on facebook of people going out there still, though, so it's a mixed bag. OFR is apparently shuttered, not sure if there are gates up yet but probably are. Sucker Pond - they can't decide who is in charge and who isn't, I guess, so that's kind of closed ish? Dorset caves - angry land owner is vandalizing the trails so people can't get through, rumor is the town has acknowledged that it's not them, but a private land owner, BUT they also don't seem too hot to trot in fixing it or stopping them, sounds like the town has wanted to shutter it a long while and hasn't had the authority to, so they're not rushing to stop the person who's breaking the law to do it.

I know a bunch of trails in northern NH/VT, up near the radar base. Speaking of which, I give it about ~5-7 years before they have to tear that thing down and will probably gate off some trails there too.

That thing is pretty sketchy. The need to rebuild it to keep those pesky Canadians and their banana hammocks out.

Now Russia is basically a shell of itself, we really just need to be worried about the Chinese and those pesky america's tophat Canadians invading all the Maine beaches in banana hammocks.
