That is one shithole of a city I never would live in again... grew up there and left in 06'... didnt ever look back.

Although I am going to Tahoe for a bachelor party next month... thats about as far into CA I like to go nowadays.

We feel the same. It’s dirty, crime ridden, hasn’t improved in decades… truthfully we get the same feeling in San Antonio.

we will go to the beach, family house on Dillons, we will be having our wedding ceremony (thanks Covid) in Tahoe this spring, love Tahoe and the beach.

wife loves Disneyland I’m sure we will get down there again. Other than that - family’s the only reason we will go back into the state. Plus, we’ve got Oregon and Washington and Utah - who needs CA?!

Try 25 years ago when Idahoans started their anti-california movement. A tale as old as time. I think the problem is mafnified thanks to inflation this time around.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
It’s a beautiful trail and easy… until it gets hard. When it gets hard it gets pretty hard. All the people that have gone up have dug into the trail so you end up driving up a creek bed in a ditch. But it is fun.

From the local paper “FYI, your stripped orange/brown kitty whom you let roam warm springs is a terror. She killed our favourite jay, a hummingbird and a rabbit this week” that should tell you the kind of people in ketchum

Sometimes I'm ashamed to own one just because people think everyone who has one destroys the trails. I've actually called the department of lands on people tearing shit up in them / on bikes. It's the idiots out destroying trails that will get them shut down for the rest of us. Sigh.

Hahaha... I was glad to be coming up with Texas plates instead of Cali... but uh...

Well I miss having a lift so I'm in need of install ideas, I don't think I can do it myself. Scary to bring a brand new truck somewhere to be worked on for me though...
