Official 2021 NCAA Football Thread

I thought all coaches did that. Usually right after they talk about how their team is a "family".

 

Saban just inked a 10 million a year deal that keeps him at Bama till 2028.

 

Nobody cares..

 

Coaches break those contracts all the time to go to other schools for more money. They seem to be one sided contracts. Not that I think someone else will offer Saban more, but you never know.

 

Guess not, but I'm ok with all the rest arguing over 2nd place.

 

Who’s arguing?

 

Saban will never leave UA until he's ready to stop coaching. There isn't a better coaching job.

Saban isn’t leaving Alabama, but he would have wild success no matter where he went. He has years worth of 1st/2nd round depth. Greatest college coach by a mile.

Signed up the other week. Finally got a job that will allow me to have a life and keep up with things like this. I’m looking forward to this and being off on Saturdays to watch the games.

 

Special uniforms are the clown car of college football. Especially when you decide to wear them the day oklahoma is coming to your house to beat your ass.

I so want that jersey to be real.

 

I am excited for OU - Nebraska, though. That was such a great rivalry back in the day. It's the first football game I remember watching with my dad as a little kid.

 

It's amazing how fast Nebraska collapsed and never recovered after Osborne left.

 

Thought Solich had some good yrs there?

 

Feel the same way about Miami. They had sustained success with multiple coaches, but it absolutely collapses when they fired Coker.

 

He coached from 1998-2003 and did well until Osborne's recruits were gone.

 

I somewhat agree with this but think cam Newton’s auburn team should be on here.
