I was looking at that muffler today and got thinkin maybe i should get it because its only 30 bucks.. well my stock muffler is almost 22" long and this one is like 19, so i know i'll have to get extra tube. but my main question is, the mufflers at the store are center in/out and offset in/out on the other side. would that work or would i need center/center?

stock muf's are offset but i have an aero getting put on and its center center all you have to do is either have a straight pipe on the outlet or have them put in a new mid pipe and i went with the new midpipe because it has an unecessary bend it to make the muf an offset so i'd go with a new midpipe before the muf so much simpler.

    hope this helps

I have a 2-1/4" Thrush turbo on my FJ40 behind a 6 into 1 header. Sounds way better than the 40 series dronemaster I had on it before. Kinda throaty but not too loud. The flowmaster was downright obnoxious on this truck, as they are on most vehicles. But it wasn't good obnoxious except at idle where you would swear I had a small block under the hood. The Thrush is a pretty cheap muffler though. If they salt the roads where you live I would give it 2 years max. I store the FJ in the winter so it's not an issue.
