I reckon mine comes from Houston-area refinement via Megellan pipeline. The terminal is 5 miles from my house and the station it gets delivered to is 8 miles. Final product is Shell 91 E0.
33,000 mile average of 18.5 mpg with LT265/75/16/E @ 300lbs above curb weight.

85 octane since I live at a high altitude. Averaging about 16-19 mpg between highway and city driving.

Been running E10 87...all fuels here are ethanol blended. 92 octane is noticeably worse in performance, and fuel mileage. Truck is basically all stock except for the a/t tires instead of the firestone all seasons. Right now dead of summer getting 22.5-23 mpg. Some city, mostly highway.

You might want to use Top Tier gas like the manual recommends. Go to toptiergas.com to find a brand.

I guess all those bottom basement fuel stops like bj's, cumberland farms, and costco aren't top tier. I try to avoid them if possible. Usually shell, or irving...truck runs well on either.

I use shell 87 avg 21-23 mpg . I tried a higher grade fuel before didn’t see any difference in mpg . The truck ran better on higher grade .

I get the same, only with the latest toyota tune. Who knows maybe both are the same, just different names.

I usually run 87. Get approx 16-18 or so in town and 20 or so on the highway. It's hard to tell really considering it drops tremendously even if you have to sit in drive thru or something for 2-3 minutes. I plan on going KDMax soon though!

    Nothing major yet.
This is pretty normal for me on regular highway driving. I only use 87 because there is not point of using higher in my opinion .

Edit: I get around 18-21 on my normal commute to / from work. (Mostly city driving below 45 mph. )

2021, TRD/OR stock everything. I get 23+, max = 23.9 on 100% gas which is available in East TN, when I drive home from Georgia I put in 93 octane "corn" gas and I loose 1.0 to 1.5 gpm
    1996 - 28-29 mpg on 100% gas . lose about 1.0 to 1.5 gpm on corn gas.
On both trucks I use the old man driver tune

Thanks - I did not know Top Tier was a thing. As a chemical industry guy I know first hand that third tier guys buy odd ball hydrocarbons and blend it off to fuels. I've worked with "by-product" fuels that went to motor fuel and MDO blending. That's a thing too.

All brands of gasoline come from a nearby refinery. Top Tier brands come from the same refinery but have extra detergent added at the refinery. Costco happens to be one of the Top Tier brands.

Some claim costco is a top tier fuel that vehicles run well on it, but its not listed as one around here.

Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that pretty much all gasoline sold in the US meets top tier standards. Costco in particular is listed on the top tier Wikipedia page. I didn’t check the other two. I don’t understand why people differentiate gasoline based on brand name. It’s not like each brand is making their own gasoline, yes?
