I'm curious if their spindle gussets would fit the 4runner. From that I can tell, tacoma and 4runner spindles are geometrically the same, just have the different ball joint and tie rod end tapers.

Oh wow! Those are purty. It's a little bit of work. I just saw that view of my truck, but it looks so very much worth it.

I believe they would based on the fact the TC spindle gusset fits both the tacoma and 4Runner. Same part number.

Thats what I was thinking. The main differences between the two different spindles are dimensions that wouldn't affect the gusset fitment

You should give it a shot, be a pioneer. Your welding skills are definitely up for the task.

They're just getting a list together for impending group buy. I just hopefully added my name to it. Since these exist I wonder if it's even worth me dicking with the plastic-ky ones I bought.

Alrighty, I worry about flux welding them on, but that little green machine can eat.

I also like what you did of buying a separate set of spindles to weld the gussets on, then swap for the current ones, so will be on the hunt for some

Randy just nicely informed me that there is no actual list.

Can you weld? YES. Im pretty sure all the information you need is out there, and Ive read your build thread, you are pretty meticulous.

So, I think you could do it.

But looks like it would at least cover some of the open parts that the OEM liner reveals, right? Like the back of the fender where that styrofoam piece is? And along the front I could probably make something to cover the backs of my fog lights.

Thanks. I've got to finish school and get a real job first and probably a daily at that point. Being a part time bus driver is not going to fund a sas lol

IF that ever happens it will be very far in the future. I just want some better coverage inside there.

The most expensive part of the SAS is the labor. And that depends on the axle you want.

The only thing I want to have better coverage is the wiring harness that sticks into the driver side wheel well, like who the fuck from toyota designed that stupid shit, then ok'd it.
