New to me 2016 MGM

Picked this TRD OR 2 weeks ago. The previous owner has a good start on mods. Hidden light bar behind the grill. Pro Grille. LED interior lights. Console organizers. Tint. I’ve got the minimalist fob ordered and a few small mods. Plant to lift and run 33’s eventually. Bumpers and lifts seem to be OOS or long lead times. So far I’m loving this truck!

 

Congrats! I'd recommend taking a breath before going headfirst into mods (opposite of what I and many others did). Be sure to appreciate what you like, figure out what needs to change, but most importantly, research ALL of your options. The longer you're on TW, the more you'll see and discover aftermarket options. Items you might like at first, you may find that there's a better alternative that you were unaware of...

Good Advice, I enjoy the research almost as much as the mod itself. I’ve made costly mistakes before moding Harley’s and other 4x4s. Been down that road.

 

I've said it many times. The research, anticipation, and installation are almost better than having the item on your truck.

Pro tip: Use the "quote" button in the bottom right of people's comment to quote them in your reply. This will notify them that someone has responded to their comment and it will add context to your comment.

 

Do you mind sharing the price you paid? I have a 16 Sport was curious about the resale value of the 16s. BTW, great looking truck. Looks like the previous owner took good care of it.

Well it has a rebuilt title due to minor water damage. Toyota inspected it with a clean bill of health. I paid 23k but they are going for 28-34k here in KY. It has 60k miles. It’s clean for 5 years old.

 

This was my 2012 SG. Miss this one.
