The bags take the place of the bump stops. There is a guy on here who fab’d a custom bracket that holds a bump and a bag though.

I have seen the custom bracket that incorporates bumps and a ubolt flip. I don't think they are being made/offered anymore. My understanding is the Firestone Ride Rites are not internally bumped? I'm looking for a solution myself.

Looks great!! I'll know by the end of this year if I'm keeping my '15 or not. If I do I will go this route. I'll be following you for updates on final "settled" lift height.

    Thank you.

Dobinsons 112-R super heavy duty leaf pack with the 113-R add a leaf. Same number of leafs as I used to have with my Dakar pack but I gained about 2" back in lift. Truck is about 6900lbs loaded.
    IMG_2935.jpg
Old Dakars at 75% loaded vs new Dobinsons fully loaded.

Subbing to thread.... Seems like I stumbled onto a gem(?)
Anyone active here still running these? Trying to plan options for the build and I think I've all but decided to stay away from Dakar/OME due to the noise.

Still running what? ATS Springs? I've had mine on for about 4 months, still excellent

Sorry, there's been a lot of other products mentioned. I'm thrilled with mine. Not a single complaint, and I'm running tons of extra weight

No I appreciate you clarifying too. These kinda threads derail quickly and it becomes hard to tell who's talking what product up after page 2.

Have you ran other leaf packs before trying these?

Yes. I had Dakars and they were mush and heralded your arrival with the song of 10,000 squeaks

I've seen hundreds of reviews echoing this now.... Sad! I am still looking, I think the leaves and the UCAs are the last things I've undecided on. 6112/5110 is the easy choice, even got the wheels/tires figured out... Maybe not tire dimension but yea... This leaf business. A mess.

I talked to a shop owner here locally when I needed to purchase my tow hitch/ball about some things involved with my (hopefully) upcoming lift.
I asked what leaf pack he’s recommending. He told me the Icon packs are his best seller and he’s never had someone upset with noise from them.

Still undecided. Icon packs are comparable in price to the Dakar.

For those of you with the 4/1 leaf packs did you have to install axle shims or carrier bearing drop kits?

Seriously consider the Dobinsons leaf packs. Either the heavy duty 111-R or the super heavy duty 112-R depending on your application. @Crikeymike is the guy you want to talk to.

Funny you should mention that, I have been leaning towards the Dobinsons. See many folks running them on here and no one complaining!
