Looking forward to your review after running them for a while, especially wheeling. Please tag me. Is there a vendor website link? I ditched my sway bar, but if this is an option, I'd like to research it more.

    @ZebraScissors ?

Edit: see that Monster Rides is the manufacturer but onky has facebook which i don't have or want. I'll have a friend log on for me to check them out.

There is a DIY how to make your own and a guy that sells them.

    Doesn't really need a review.
    You just put them on.

am dealing with the same thing
    planning to:
-remove and re-install cowl area pieces including cleaning
    -possibly sealing around cowl area
    -adding anti-mouse grate
    -adding flashing rain deflect shield
-checking to make sure any drains are clear

    Links?

I like to research anything before I do it and reviews of people using them to run hard trails is what I'm after. Not gonna waste money or time to find out for myself they wouldn't be ideal for my application if others have tried and recommemd against it. I already removed my swaybar, but interested in these if they work well. You'd think there would be lots of threads on them if they work flawlessy for crawling.

    You said someone sells them?

Edit: see that Monster Rides is the manufacturer but only has facebook which i don't have or want. I'll have a friend log on for me to check them out. If you know a forum member or have a non-facebook link let me know.

for sure! ill keep you posted. so far the only gripe I have right off the bat is that the bar that the pins connect to rotate which is kind of annoying when you want to put them back in.

I think he said they have an instagram, but Im guessing if you dont have a facebook you probably dont have an instagram either

A few mods here and there and counting....
Which ones are you running? You mentioned in another thread you have swaybar disconnects…very curious to know.

my buddy had a similar set on his 4th gen t4r and eventually the pins became impossible to pull and his sway bar would pop under moderate/heavy cornering. He eventually just put factory ones back on then ended up pulling his sway bar completely for a year or two before he sold it. But I hope yours work well for you!

Thats what I was looking for. Thanks. I'll keep researching it, but I am suspicious of why these are not more popular if they work well.

Mine clunked but stopped after I re-tightened them.
I feel some play in the steering but they are still tight so it's probably something else like a control arm.
Unfortunately I threw away my OEM (low miles) ones.
The pins seem to require some finesse to re-insert and maybe even pull. Like what angle the truck is at so the sway bar isn't loaded, which way the rod is turned, etc.
IDK if different pin design makes a difference, or any sort of lubricant.

One thing is for sure. They might get issues in winter with snow. I hear it's recommended to remove them during winter. I can't see myself doing that. Maybe I can try to find a way to protect it. Whether it be with Fluid Film, or adding boots. However, supposedly with spherical heim joints like that, they have teflon inside that's not recommended to spray stuff on that can strip it out.

I tried sway bar delete but it had too much body roll.
Full disconnect I don't think is an option due to hitting the CV boot,
and retrofitting electronic disconnect like on Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco is probably very difficult

Do you see a main thread here on TW for them?

Do you see them sold and promoted by major outfitters?

Rust is probably the one thing Im going to be looking at. I have a feeling these will rust out quick in a Wisconsin winter. But we'll see. It should be noted that you have to be on very flat ground to put the pins back in. Any load on one side or the other will make the bar lift out of alignment of the pin hole. I do have some boots that go over the joints that I havent put on because I wanted to see how they worked before I covered them up. If the pins break Ill use a high grade bolt and some wire instead.

No, that is exactly my point. However, I'll look into it more. I just thanked the guy for his feedback. Not sure if you're getting defensive, and if so, why you would be; @MasonSTL didn't take my interest or curiousity of why it is not more popular the wrong way.

Good luck. Hopefully it works well. I wouldn't have the rust concerns out here. I already run no sway bar for more articulation wheeling, so I'd be fine running them as is till I get back to good flat ground. Keep me and Sang, @outxider, updated on how it works out. Maybe start a thread (or PM with us) to take the discussion out of here (i.e. not purpose of this thread).

Got the mount in for the slope meter. Fit a little too snug IMO but location looks great. Gonna try to mount it and get everything wired up manana.
