I like it, but it is a bit antiquated. There is not a whole lot of activity there, which is the reason I browse TW a lot more

Yeah its really bad in the 5th gen section. It used to be nothing but best tire, best lift, oil change questions. I had more luck finding the info I was looking for in the 4th and 3rd gen sections a lot of the times.

yep, I mainly lurk the 4th gen section and post writeups. it is surprising how many people are convinced lift is going to help clear their tires at full bump

heres a question. Do I order deavers with archive hangers or a shackle flip, or do I just do a chevy 63 swap. I want some more rear travel, I know I can probably get a bit more out of it if I change out the dakars.

That is Tiffany’s haha, she’s got a thing for yellow stuff. I test rode a 1200 gsa today’s that had 40k miles and was extremely impressed. First time on that type of bike.

Not on this truck. No fucking way lol. I wont even go LT on this truck. No need out here or for my type of driving.

For the cost of a 3 link, plus lt in the front (which would be required in my opinion) I could buy an 80 and get it ready for 40s.

Which is more my speed than LT.

I'm also honest enough to say I dont yet have the mechanical ability to install and figure out the geometry needed for a 3 or 4 link at this time, so the cost would be about the same lol

The couple beamers I’ve ridden are like butter. You two are going to be shredding fire roads! I see groups out here every week and it gives me the itch.

Cutting off the stock mounts and getting the new ones positioned (so pretty much the whole thing). It took a long time to get the rear hangers in the correct position and using the correct shackle length to get the shackle angle and ride height where it should be. We probably tacked them and cut them off 4-5 times. It was just way too much work for the gain.

Yeah what is that about? I can't browse truck parts between meetings because their SSL cert is invalid.

Why would you show this to me? I have no need for it, but that hasn't stopped me yet!

Honestly though. If I can't get my truck to pass VA inspection I'll part it out and start over on something else.
