Like the title says, just put fresh bulbs in and the mode selector is still out along with the a/c button. I put some electric grease on the one that wasn’t working.... still not lighting up. Is this a circuit problem? Anyone else had this problem with a solution?

All 3 of those should be on the same circuit. You may have a bad climate control panel.

Tap on your panel with your finger. Could be a bad connection

Try swapping the bulbs to see if the problem follows the bulb that isn’t lit up.

The same shit everyone else has.
Put a multimeter across the 2 terminals. See if you’re getting voltage there.

This will tell you what you ask. Check for voltage at the bulb socket.

Im having the same issue, fan control works. Bo the the on/off and climate mode switch will not illuminate therefore the a/c will not power on. I've swap the climate control panel and same issue.

Were the new bulbs LEDs by any chance? If so pull the bad one, rotate 180 degrees, and reinstall.

Sounds like a different issue than the OP if your A/C isn't working at all, I think they just are missing the night time back light.
You may want to make your own thread, I'll post up the wiring diagrams when I get time.

This topic comes up once in a blue moon around here and always seems to end up with no conclusive resolution. Bulbs get replaced and either the issue is "fixed" temporarily only to return days/weeks/months later, or like OP's case here the issue still remains. Until then, the only interim solution is to tap on the panel until it illuminates.

I've been dealing with this same issue off & on for years now and fortunately at the moment mine is working fine (I'm sure I just jinxed myself and it'll start acting up now). Although I haven't really been tracking it in detail over the years it does seem to maybe act up accordingly with the seasonal weather (hot & cold). When mine was at the dealer a few years ago getting a new frame they replaced the bulb(s) with no luck. Their final disposition was the climate control panel needing to be replaced.

Some years ago there was a thread on this same topic and I remember one of the members mentioning something about the issue tied to some type of light transfer plastic within the climate control panel itself, kind of similar to fiber optic lighting? Someone else on here more knowledgeable might be able to shed some more light (no pun intended) on the validity of this, but it may seem to jive with my dealer recommending the panel requiring replacement.

Sounds like a similar problem to the overhead display not working. I wonder if it's a similar fix.
    I can't check, I have a 2012 and believe I have soldered LEDs stock.

The most likely cause is a cracked solder joint, quite common on all modern things because of lead free solder being used.
If your handy with a soldering iron it's generally quite easy to reflow the solder joints.

    @Dm93
Where would the cracked solder joints be located, where would I search for them on the climate control??

    Thanks in advance

You would have to disassemble it and inspect the solder joints for cracks.

I've been battling this as well. It seems to me to be a poor connection between the bulb terminals and the circuit board. I'll put new bulbs in and they work great for a few minutes....until you're driving and hit a bump or 2. Then, one or both of the lights will go out. Pull out the bulbs, reinstall them....same issue. I tried dabbing some dielectric grease on the circuit board hoping that would create a better connection, but now neither bulb works. I'm going to try to find the OEM bulbs, which seem to fit a little tighter.
