Any fans of the access cab

My Tacoma goes into tight turn around places in fields and lanes at times......I needed the 6"ft bed. SO the Access cab fits the bill perfectly. (Yes I love it!)

 

Your logic regarding resale is not sound. Scarcity drives up cost if there is demand. If Toyota manufactures less Access Cabs and there was demand they would sell/resale at higher cost than double cab; especially if there are more double cabs on the market.

 

Access cab is cool .. but lacks space and seating I needed . So went with the double cab .

 

I prefer the access cab. I don't need to haul passengers.

Double cab + short bed looks really weird to me.

Double cab + long bed looks better, but it's too long. I prefer a shorter wheelbase.

Unfortunately, Toyota Canada really wants to phase out the access cab.

Not going to lie, this would be cool, yet complicated from an engineering perspective (I’d imagine).

 

Yeah to me double cabs in a mid size truck that has a 5' bed, looks like someones station wagon that got chopped for a bed. The double cabs look more normal in a full size truck. The access cab is perfect for my needs...don't need to hauling more people than what the 2 front seats carry.

 

I did not know Toyota sells an access cab.

 

Since 2005 I have had my Access Cab. I don't care for the the 4 door and not having and bed space.

 

07 for me....my first ever brand new ride. Still going strong.

 

I think the AC is rightly proportioned and looks great. If it had been my choice alone I would have gone with an AC.
