There has to be more to it than that. No way in fucking hell did LEO and Fire get called to a special needs student throwing a fit on a bus in which the driver 99% probably knows the student is special needs.

 

I looked around and most the stories that I found say roughly the same thing.

Cop or not if I was one of those fire fighters I would have put that douche bag cop in a choke hold until the little bitch passed out.

 

"put those hands behind your back before I taze you" at 1 min in. Wow.

 

I completely understand that, but she was a 17yo girl and he is an adult male. I think he could have handled it quite differently if he had the brain power.

I have watched the video a couple times and the way he grabs her just pisses me off more and more. Definitely no need for that type of force when all she has done is disobey him. He is truly dumber than a box of rocks. Most cops should be glad this ass-clown got fired because he is the type that give cops a bad name.

 

Wow, how much time have you spent in jail. I think if you have the "other" stories out there then you should post them as well so we can read what your reading.

chris 4x4 is right on the money, you see these threads and so much emotion in the commentary and one standout fact, none of us was there. i believe the story said the teen had already assaulted an aide and this leo would have been aware of this behavior. truth be told, probably the only reason leo was fired was because of video of incident

Only about 1 hour jail time here. That was only because the cop that pulled me over wanted to act like a little bitch. He went to hand me my license and each time I tried to grab it he pulled it away. I told him to quit being a 2 year old and give me my damn license and I guess he took offense. He took me in after finding a 3rd traffic ticket to write me. I knew the jailer there so when my name came across him he called me down and released me. Was pretty damn fun walking out and smiling at the cop that brought me in. Went to court for the tickets and of course he didn't show up so all of them were dismissed.

It's pretty easy to read the same stories I did, just use that crazy "google" webpage and search for them. Careful though, it can be pretty tricky.

 

Still no reason for her to be thrown around like that. She gave him no reason at all to use that level of force. Had she thrown a punch or tried to kick him, fine, take her down, but her just telling him no doesn't give him the right.

If the cop was right then the video would have shown that, this however was not the case.

 

Agreed. I personally will always rely on the video if it involves most of the altercation. Video's do not lie, cops and criminals do however.

I understand that everyone has a bad day but that is definitely not an excuse for cops. If they are having a bad day then they should sit their asses at home until they are back to normal. We are not talking about a secretary having a bad day that doesn't forward a call. If a cop lets his personal situation affect what he does in the field then he should not be out there.

 

Wow, so much hatred for only have 1 negative experience with a police officer.

Try wearing their shoes for a change, and see how many "bad days" you have.

 

I don't have hatred for all cops, just have an overwhelming hatred for cops that abuse their power. I have met more good cops than bad ones by far.

 

I'll say one thing only in here- to be a cop in this day with all these little pricks and bitches with attitudes with their psycological problems-it's no surprise you're going to see the human behind the badge lose it sometimes.
Having said that-this cop has NO business manhandling that little girl like that I don't care what led to it-there's a limit to force used especially with a kid like that.
