After doing this I went to start the vehicle and it won’t start. The A/C, display, and everything else will come on but nothing else will. The check engine light comes on and the traction control off light is on and the display says “check charging system”. I took pictures of the fuse panel before I pulled the fuse and everything is back in the correct spot as far as I can tell. I only pulled the one fuse and a few of the wiring harness’s that came into the fuse box. I have attached a picture of my fuse box to see if anyone can help. I even removed the add a fuse and tried putting it back to factory and it still does the same thing. I’m not super mechanically minded so any advice is appreciated!

    Did you disconnect the battery?

I use an OBD2 scanner to see codes if there is any then unplug the battery for a couple minutes and try again.

It's normal that it won't start for a couple tries after disconnecting the battery because it needs to run checks on itself

When you routed it up into the fuse box you unplug something ? Or did you remove the wrong fuse to the “add a fuse” the location of the add a fuse looks off from where I installed mine.

I don’t know why I find this thread title so funny!!

It’s like you introduced the ghost of FORD and now your Tacoma will be plagued with issues.

    Sorry op

I didn’t unhook the battery. I just replaced the fuse with the add and fuse and then ran the negative to ground.

I double checked it and it is good. I even tried replacing it with one of the replacement 10amp fuses.

The only thing I unplugged other than the INJ fuse was the wire harness’s coming into the fuse box that I marked in red. The fuse I have mine going to is the same as Tacowonz video I watched.

Is there something missing in the the top left corner ? Looks like something goes there ? I would try to disconnect the aftermarket lights first to see if it corrects the problem . I had weird starting issue with a tailgate light bar . Took it off problem went away .

This is about the third or fourth post like this on here recently. The ECU does NOT like the power coming from the injector fuse; I haven't actually looked at why, but I'm guessing it's sensing an inappropriate load. Try another power source, or better yet, add a secondary fuse block and power your lights off of that. Remove the stuff you just installed, and you'll likely be fine.

Always disconnect your battery when working on electrical things

    Car, house, scooter... etc

That's where I'd start if it were me

Are you able to remove your raptor light mods completely to test if your vehicle starts again?

This time remove the battery terminals during lights removal process.

    Hopefully this helps.

I've never understood why you would tap anything to do with running the engine.. there are so many alternate extraneous switched 12v sources.. there's even the empty slot on the interior panel.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
Verify these fuses with the battery negative cable removed. The connectors you removed run current to various systems that are always ON.

It looks like you put the add a fuse in the wrong spot.
