I put 265 Falken tires on my tacoma and want to raise the front a bit. Are 3" struts too much for the front end? Should I go with 2" instead? Maybe 2" rear shocks along with the 3" struts? TIA!

    To answer your questions; yes.

If you'd like more in-depth answers to your questions, try reading any number of the other lift threads that get asked almost daily. Or provide some substance to your inquiry. Like what your budget is, how you actually use the truck, etc.

Seriously, this has probably been asked 1-3x a day on average, for the last 15 years. There's no shortage of "how much can I lift bro?" Threads on this forum. Help us, help you...help yourself.

    Welcome to TW.

rear shocks dont lift the rear

unless you already knew that then nvm.

3 inch struts dont lift the front either, the coils do the lifting,

unless you already knew that then carry on.

:benchpress: I only lift heavy things. 3" struts aren't very big and quite possibly shorter than your factory coil overs and 2" shocks aren't going to have a very long compressed length.

So...you're a broke high schooler who wants to flex his truck at the mall, got it.

Toss in some spacers/blocks and call it a day.

A +4 long travel setup will lift the front end for your 265s or you could use spacers on the stock setup.

Budget and how you intend to use it are valid questions. Anyone providing a response to your original question would benefit from that info.

You being a smart ass will just result in a Friday train wreck thread and minimal useful info for you.
