    Hi All,

I'm contemplating installing this SwitchPros unit directly to my firewall (via 2 threaded Rivnuts).

Before I get out the deadly drill I was wondering if someone has knowledge of what is behind the firewall...in other words, will it be safe to drill/mount here or are there wires or sensitive stuff behind the firewall that I should be forewarned of?

Not sure if there's anything back there but I've definitely used many self-tapping screws in there. Just go slow at the end with a drill would be my advice.

There's a void under the black cowling. I'd remove that first so you have access to the backside of the sheet metal. IIRC there is a linkage for the wiper arms, so you'll want to avoid that. But you should be able to find some room to install that there

[EDIT] Another pic showing the linkage.
