I just recently put my second set of pads on the front . @135k
At around 65-70k I upgraded the fronts to PowerStop Rotors and pads . So I’m getting around 60000+ miles on a set of pads . When it’s time for rear brakes I will probably go with these

I went with the cheapest shoes I could find because I know they won’t last anyway. Think I paid $28 for everything and $15 to have the drum machine cut.

The storms were pretty crazy. I had hockey and it was pretty sketchy driving home at like 10pm. I wasn't sure if some of the roads were going to be flooded or have trees down etc.

I love hearing stories of people who put a crazy amount of miles on there Tacos. If I still had my long commute, I would've kept my '14 and just ran it. I put 153k on it but when I bought it, I figured I'd put at least 200-250 on it before replacing it. But circumstances changed.

Dave was a Ford fan and I converted him into a Toyota. He told me if it don’t go over 235k without engine problems that he would go back to Ford… that’s how long his ranger lasted until he burnt a valve…. He got to 250k and says I may get rid of it at 300k as he went over 300k he says ok 400k we’ll he hit 401k and the truck out lasted him :-/

Sorry to hear about him. But that is still a really cool story. Glad that the truck treated him well.

We live to die. He was a great man especially with his grandkids… moving forward, my 16 year old drives it and we’e rebuilt the rear suspension, have stuff for the front but need TIME to do it. Rear shocks and leaf springs we did. I have take off front shocks that are needed very soon.

Very true. And I'm sure that would make him happy to know that you and the grandkids are still enjoying the truck.

Had to leave Porter in the truck for a few minutes while I went into Coach’s to grab lunch, so I taped a warning to the truck for any Karens who might happen to pass by…
