So I'm gonna take the old rubber bushings out of the 4runner LCAs I picked up last month - I assume the best way to get them out easily is to just cut them out? Don't need to reuse them obviously. Going to swap my poly ones over

Eh I was hoping to avoid the bottle jack press method if I could just heat them up and/or cut them out, but I guess if it must be done it must be done.

more afraid of bending the arms, I'm replacing an arm that is already suspected to be bent, I don't want to have questions about the next one lol.

the bushings are original and probably seized in there so I'm guessing I'll need to do it.

Might as well order some steering rack bushings too if they have some miles on them

Just replacing one of my LCAs with one from a 4runner, did my steering rack bushings about a year ago

Although they were the Energy ones and comments in the other thread now having me second guessing them.

that is a job I don't want to do again, would be so much easier on a lift instead of jack stands. Back/neck hurt for days after that one.

Are you running a sway bar up front still?

They should work than. I noticed a little while ago that the sway bar links are different on the 4r lowers them the lowers on a tacoma.

Good to know, thanks. I was wondering if there was any other differences besides the LBJ/outer tie rod connection being different
