You might want to get a hitch lock if you don't have one yet. I had a ball/hitch stolen in a Walmart parking lot years ago.

Added some 1x2 furring strips to the sides of each piece of plywood so that they fit between the 2x4 cross braces I have. also added a small furring strip piece to each cross brace to reduce lateral slide. Purposely kept the sides open so I can store stuff with easier access Probably going to add carpet and debating putting hinges on. I have the hinges, but the pieces slide in and out easy enough that I'm not sure I need to.

I'd like to actually see it turned on - and see the LCD display on top working.

Thank you for recommending... I actually got that, it's installed in the photo. It's black. Interestingly enough, I got the 3" and it wouldn't quite fit! Had to swap it with the 3.5" - the guy said "tacos should be 3" that's why I gave it to you..." Had him try it just to make sure I wasn't an idiot... Sure as **** the '21 needs a 3.5" apparently!

Yes it does!!! It is double walled for some reason. My 3/4 ton Chevy had a smaller hitch!

The creatures that hide underneath the bed are going to reach up and grab you from the sides!

    Looks good.

The KC harness provides power to the lamps that have 2 settings. The switch sends power to the lamps on one position - off - power to relay coil. The yellow wire goes to the relay 30 and it also to switch.
P.S. the drawing is not incorrect, you just need to look closer.

Picked up an OEM Tacoma Bed Mat today - sort of locally. $80. I used the Toyota.com parts link, entered in the part number and it showed a handful of local dealers prices. Just a handful and the closest one to me was about 40 miles away. Worth the drive for $80. Shipping would have cost another $45.

Now I just need to trim the sections that the stiffeners interfere with. I read a utility knife is the best method?

All looks correct to me. IDK, Certainly worth a call to KC to see what they have to say.

I received my AJT Design Injection FOB from Cali Raised. Plucking the guts from the OEM Fob was certainly tedious (especially not to hurt the chip on the "H" Key Fob) BUT...worth it. I love it. 08122021; New Key FOB I.jpg 08122021; New Key FOB II.jpg

From just south Lexington to the outskirts of Chattanooga, averaged 80+ mph the majority of the time, about 300 pounds of cargo in the bed too. B665AD53-15BC-4D84-8198-39BD912559FB.jpg

Decals YA. But you need to swap out the yellow/orange/red emblem to the 3 tone blue one.
