The KC harness provides power to the lamps that have 2 settings. The switch sends power to the lamps on one position - off - power to relay coil. The yellow wire goes to the relay 30 and it also to switch.
P.S. the drawing is not incorrect, you just need to look closer.

 

Picked up an OEM Tacoma Bed Mat today - sort of locally. $80. I used the Toyota.com parts link, entered in the part number and it showed a handful of local dealers prices. Just a handful and the closest one to me was about 40 miles away. Worth the drive for $80. Shipping would have cost another $45.

Now I just need to trim the sections that the stiffeners interfere with. I read a utility knife is the best method?

I received my AJT Design Injection FOB from Cali Raised. Plucking the guts from the OEM Fob was certainly tedious (especially not to hurt the chip on the "H" Key Fob) BUT...worth it. I love it.

From just south Lexington to the outskirts of Chattanooga, averaged 80+ mph the majority of the time, about 300 pounds of cargo in the bed too.

Decals YA. But you need to swap out the yellow/orange/red emblem to the 3 tone blue one.

 

That would be cool.. but perhaps a bit TOO matchy-matchy?

 

My spouse does not like any red accents on our 2017 BBP Taco. I had to change the buttons in the TRD Pro shift knob. I also have to replace the red letters on the Yakima bike rack with blue. That will be the mod for this weekend.

 

Another step closer. @C4 Fabrication rock sliders. Paint by Black Hills Powder Coating. Supporting our local companies, getting excellent products, recieving outstanding customer service and saving tons of money on shipping. Both groups are highly recommended. Solo install with my little fuzzy headed health issue was interesting yet totally doable with nothing more than 2 jack stands and a 2 ton jack plus lots of breaks and a couple beers. Don't be skeered to tackle this mod yourself.
