    Attempting to not use this arm is beyond annoying right now. Ice packs ready for later.

    I heard people burn them out too for stubborn ones. Ball joint press could work too.

    A cloth sling to allow arm to relax and it will hold ice pack or heat pad/pack.

    Lol sounds like her! She's actually good with this stuff, retired HPER and movement professor, lotsa body and kinesiology study, and she said throw the thing in a sling for now unless I absolutely need to use it and that it'll really help hold ice and heat unless I wanna wrap it haha. I'm just a shitty patient. CVS has em so gonna grab in the am.

    Though I wonder if going with 4R ball joints and tie rod ends will provide a tighter turning radius.

    4Runner turns on a dime versus the Tacoma.

    I thought I read somewhere that the t4r ones were a little weaker, the outer tie rod I mean. I dunno for sure

    Thought it was more common for them to switch to our LBJ/otre setup than us to theirs

    I did read it was "slightly" weaker on the 4R, but let's be real...ton of these failures are due to negligence. Unless you're wheeling pretty heavily and often, which would prompt you to replace them periodically anyway.

    @eon_blue

    Uhm, I might go wheeling again on the 27th, maybe I should try next week to grab that skid and bring you those shocks?

    The LBJ for sure, I'm not sure what would make the tie rod weaker though other than maybe it's a little smaller or something. The LBJs are the exact same minus where the otre attaches as far as I know

    Are you pulling up a long highway grade? That would concern me but I never see close to that temp.
