A little something every chance we get.
OK, after I mowed, I decided to go pick up an item that came in Academy, so I showered and went off on errands. Pond filters can get cleaned tomorrow, as that can easily be a pool side event. And I needed gas. So, naturally, I ended up making something simple just ridiculous. I decided I would just run down Hwy 80 a few miles past Martindale to Fentress, and save $0.25/gallon. Not far out of the way, and worth it with the truck. Then, I kept seeing flashing lights, and expected to see someone pulled over. Which, I never did. And we got progressively slower and slower. We'd go over a rise, and I would see more and more lights. Must be a funeral. Mr. Garmin seemed to know something more than I!

    20210813_160416.jpg

Behind a work van, so I really couldn't see. Then we got a bigger hill. The "procession" was ALL flashing lights as far as I could tell. And all oncoming traffic moved over and stopped - all the time. And we came to a stop at 130/80 interchange. I saw a vehicle block the exit to 130, one block the exit off 130, some went over the bridge and stopped all traffic. I pulled out just enough to be able to see. There must have been 20 or so Sherriff's vehicles, all Hays County. The Deputies all met in the middle of the road, between all their cars, and seemed to be discussing things! I tried to get where I could get a pic, but then they all moseyed back to the cars, and headed back the other way. They ignored all the traffic they blocked, and just headed off..... I have NO IDEA! And to make this all worth while, the Valero not only had just shut off all their pumps, but the bathroom was out of order. Went all the way to 80/I-10....

So, I gotta know, where's the power feed? Is it solar?

It’s plug, need to carve it into the pool yet and I will use a nema 3 box to protect it. Will get electrical rotted to edge of pool to support it.

Soo i picked this up on Amazon its a knock off the other ones and half the price, (hooke offroad brand) which I'm okay with since its just overpriced plastic at the end of the day. Either way, i was wanting a nice and smooth platform to go in and out, as well as an area to lay down some food prep. The fitment was perfect and i didn't have any issues with install.20210813_194708.jpg

Can confirm. I was feeling crappy for a day or two but I've spent the last week in the garage working and sweating and I just tested negative. I was 90% certain I had it (again) but the more work I did the better I felt.

    Did someone say...

    Grabbing some drinks

    And heading your way!
