Alright first off what's up people! Names josh and I'm new here to taco world. I found the site searching google about the 885x OME coils I recently got. I heard on a stupid fb taco group these were the ones to get with my offroad bumpers. Well after seeing a forum on here staying they weren't the best option I made a account so I could ask questions and lost that specific forum. So for my truck with the bumpers and sliders already on. I have a set of 5100 and I'm now suspecting I should of got more HD coils. Can anyone elaborate cause I'll sell these while they're still new and get different ones but YouTube is no help on the subject and neither are any other groups.

Welcome to tw. Those coils are 590 lb rate. The 886x are 660 lb rate and are better suited to supporting more weight. If the truck height is where you want it and it drives fine, then you can also just leave it be.

Yeah I run 31s now and would like to put on 33s. So I was hoping to get a couple inches with the coils and 5100s. I've heard 887s also now. So I appreciate the input. I think I'll sell these ones and grab a pair of either 886 or 887s.

885, 887, and 888 are all 590 lb coils, just different lengths. 886 are the only ones that are 660. So if you switch to 887 you’ll maybe gain an inch back but will still have the same body roll and nose dive while braking. Which, again, isn’t a bad thing, it’s all preference.

Gotcha. Thanks alot bro I definitely appreciate it. even shopping around theres not much info in descriptions like the lbs rating numbers you were saying. I did notice the 886 said heavy load though so they're gonna be the ones. Thanks again.

Yup. 886 with the 5100s set to where you want it. Probably 3rd clip from the bottom.
