I 100% concur on the STT Pro. I love mine too, but they do not have good asphalt manners. They are pretty great offroad though.

Paint needs some work (went just one spray too much, but as James May says, all it needs is some polish), but she's back together.

Thanks again to @skidooman for the parts assist!

I've had good luck thus far with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. I went with C load but added the Discount Tire protection, just in case.
Have always been a Duratrac fan, but wanted something a little more street friendly as miles are accumulating quick. I'm about 10K into them now and have zero complaints. Seen highway, ice, snow, dirt, and rocks.

Anyone have a 255/85/16 takeoff they are looking to get rid of please let me know. Just need a single tire.

Also, anyone have a spring compressor that'll work on 3" coils (or have a trick that will allow me to adjust preload without pulling the coilover)?

I'll be moving in to school this Friday. On Saturday (14th) I'm gonna head over to NorthStar to get some laps in. Any of you who mountain bike want to meet up and ride? It'd be nice to meet some of you as well as not ride solo the first time, I'm going either way but the more the merrier with park days.
Also anyone have any camp spots/easy shorter off-road bits they like between campus and NorthStar? Want to scout some stuff before I go camp. It's a habit I've made that I'm sure I'll break eventually but while the truck is stock It gives me peace of mind when planning if I know I'll make it to the planned camp spot no issues.

That's the first thing I thought! I hope it's at least supercharged.

Looking at the whole setup, I wouldn't be surprised. Why throw all that money into the camper, suspension, brakes, etc without at least upgrading the poor 3.5

Thats one of the Truck House camper setups. Stretched frame, Currie 9" under the back TC LT in front etc etc.

They are based out in Sparks. I’ve seen the white trd pro version. I think cost is around $280k. But well designed.

All that on Duratracs...guess he's a sucker for a light weight wheel setup too.

Hope there's room for 2 spares.

I saw that truck going up rose, all I could think was how under strain that v6 must be. Seems like much too weight for a tacoma but Im curious what else is done?

I may be wrong, but I think the camper might be a fancy carbon-composite shell for weight savings. I'm sure it's still over GVWR though. The thing is huge.

Starts at $325k up to $425k. At that point you’re in used EarthRoamer territory which is on a commercial truck chassis and can handle the weight.
