Keystone State Thread

Since I mow, I make the rules. Some Augusts are drought, but most are wet. Either the rain or the next mowing eliminates the clumps. On the flipside, I don't care if the snow looks like we had a rave on it either. My yard is enjoyed, not just looked upon.

 

You guys worried about how the yard looks and my neighbors should just be happy mine doesn't look like a hay field.

That's my neighbor's. He doesn't seem to know how to use his mower. LOL.

 

I worked with a (nut) fellow who took great time and pride in his corner lot yard.
Every year he would come in furious because "the neighbor kids messed up my snow". (family friendly version)
Way too much time on his hands....

 

You got Philly on the East of the state, and Pittsburgh on the West. There's nothing in between but mountains, corn fields, and rednecks like Kentucky (for the most part). For example where I live is very rural, 45 minutes from anything. Fulton county, where the men are men and the sheep are scared as they say...

 

I picked up my box blade in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere near Oxford PA. The guy I got it from looked suspiciously like a lost brother of a guy at work.

Working indoors for my current project: Powder Rm renovation. New floor, vanity, toilet, and accessories.
Fortunately it’s small, only 4’5”x4’5” roughly.

Bathroom remodel in process here as well. It’s my 14 year old son’s bathroom, the main hallway bath. Everything was original pink (tile, tub, toilet, sink, vanity, etc) from when the house was built in 1969 and we (the contractor…I’m in Bahrain) took it all down to the studs. We have lived there two years so he suffered enough…lol. It was in great shape for its age but just really dated.
