So the end is the red knot. This image the knot is just not coated red.

Then the shackle goes over that knot.

So you can leave it like that, and retract it all the way in, now you have a grab handle on the front of your truck. :cookiemonster: When you go to use the winch line, it has a grab handle on the end, for super easy pull out.

Then take the soft shackle off, and put it in the recovery bag when not wheeling.:bananadance:

so all in all, V2 is a straight line with a monkey fist at the end, and a seperate dual loop soft shackle?
hard to tell how the shackle is woven since since there doesnt appear to be a way for it to choke the monkey fist (where one can be worried about the fist might slip out)

oh unless the shackle is attached to the main winch line, where it needs to be un-wound and Disconnected from the spool to thread it into the soft shackle loops

I would say the pictures are just not showing it correctly. It will not have been created with it not meeting winching/attaching requirements.

Soon as I get it, I will display all its goodness.

yeah it's one of those things that as simple as ropes are, knots can be complex as frick.
we'll see when you get your line, i woulnd't mind giving my line a shot since as nice as the Factor55 block i have is - if a soft shackle goes at the end of it, it can be a projectile for a short time.

This line is created different than anything else I have seen, so far.

If you look at how the tree saver function works. Its pretty interesting. Knot threw line, as the line pulls tight the knot can not escape. Just like a soft shackle, but slightly different.

    @Shveet

Ok 1 more image, this one shows the goods.

The shackle is not connected to the main winch line, it is a removable, replacable soft shackle. Simply a different design than regular.

This image shows as the soft shackle gets pulled on, it tightens around the monkey fist.

i can see the how it's set up, was just lost as how the loops of the soft shackle is threaded together.

i figured you'd have to unwind the entire winch line and thread it into the loops of the shackle first and that's what would be the "replaceable" portion. where the loops are barely larger than the winch line's diameter that way the loops don't skip past the monkey fist.
but the flaw in that thinking is then it's just an attached loop and can't do soft-shackle-things afterwards.

Just got my meso order with the minimalist key fob and they sent two alarm buttons. Unfortunately the alarm button doesn’t fit in the lock button place or it wouldn’t be an issue.

But I hear they have great customer service, so I’ll give them a email this weekend.

The fob case looks WAY cooler than the oem one!

Well I had to be handy 'cause I certainly wasn't handsome.

And Mr. Stockholm taught about how duct-tape can be use to help a woman fall in love.,,,

    Red Green taught us well.

In the Hammer duct tape seduces a woman? Must be a regional thing. Around here we use pillow talk. I guess whatever works for you.

Super excited about these wheels, and great to meet another member. I think my wallet is starting to hate TW. :kona:

I cleaned them up last night to get a jump on things. A little determination cleaned up most of the staining on the white walls

An extra inch of wheel and tire is adding 7lbs per corner over the stock wheels.

    Stay tuned for post-install. :woot:
