I went with ATX over the K02s. I had K02s on my Tundra and never could get them balanced properly.

Fully agree with this. Only reason I went away from General after 4 sets of AT2 is they didn't offer the ATX in the size that I wanted to try.

Awesome. I’m running the ATX with a white Tacoma as well. Couldn’t resist having the white letters showing to compliment the paint for me.

I started to have the white letters out but thought it would be a little much with the color of the wheels

Hey, pardon me for digging up an old post, but where did you find those center caps?

They were actually the stock center caps and I got a sticker from Etsy to put on it. I can't find who the seller was. I used a little acetone to get the "8" logo off.

After a few years rollin on TOYO OC AT2's and trying to decide what size and tire to move up to we decided on the General Grabber AT/X Love the look, not too sporty and not a big nobby mud terrain either, good mix. Installing 2" lift up front this weekend then full tire install on Monday. Got the spare mounted and fitted under the truck. 285/70/17

Thanks! We're super stoked to get them on. If I have to see one more set of KO2's on this site and in my city I'm gonna puke LOL

20K mile ATX report- including TAT

I run the LT275/70-17 on Method Racing rims. I had BFG K02s before and ended up hating them. Wet traction sucked and they just never lived up to the hype. The ATX have been fantastic, will definitely replace these with another of the same when needed.

They've been flawless and have handled everything thrown at them. Good highway ride and noise level. Tough as nails, and good traction on most surfaces. This summer we did the full TransAmerica Trail plus Badlands and I was super impressed. They experienced water crossings in TN and AR, crazy-ass mud and hard packed dirt bombing in OK, High desert, mountain rock roads in CO including the Alpine Loop and a bunch of other passes and climbs, Moab, Canyons, high speed desert runs in NV and UT, etc etc etc. Not a single issue and never had traction problems. Based on treadwear I'm guessing I'll be replacing them at about 30/35K miles (meeting expectation, I abuse them).

I like them, may need to look a them when I replace mine. Currently have the MT version, they were a trade for my wheels and tires.

Awesome report! Cant wait to abuse mine too. Been needing a good winter rated tire since my TOYO's weren't cutting it.

Install is tomorrow, I will definitely report. MT is overkill foe a daily..

Have yet to get to the mountains for the true test, but so far city driving is a pleasure! Tires look great, small lift plus new rubber feels different and better.
Gonna call these GENERAL "ROCK GRABBERS" 2 of 4 for are ticking down the road with a good size pebble in the tread LOL

Few pics from last night taking the pup offleash.

just ordered my 2nd set..265/70/17. E-load this time, went standard load last time. i want something alittle stiffer so im going with the E-load... Discount direct has 110.00 off yesterday and today.. gonna get them while the getting is good, and put in garage till fall.. before mounting.. the set i have now have been super.. 2 yrs old. about 1/2 worn down. i ususally get new tires when they are 1/2 worn down. then sell the used one's, and that puts alittle money towards the new ones..
