Ha! I just have to comment once in awhile...totally not offended!!! My guy drives a Camry and I have the taco lol. I’ve basically been banned from talking about truck mods in the house. Eye rolling and sighing ensues

The only I know of is they have a new trim, Trail Edition. The Pro trim has some changes like upgraded suspension and some cosmetic stuff. And the horrific Electric Lime color will be released.

Was working late last night. Ended up getting woken up by a call from the dealer that my truck arrived.

Ordered June 26th. Arrived August 13th.

Wasn't expecting anything for another week or two, if at all.

I don't know when I'm going to have time to get it though.

Possibly a grill change. They seem to change them every couple of years. Also, the wheels could change with the 2022s.

You can call your dealer and ask if they have it allocated yet. Then ask for the temp vin. If they don’t have either then they are stringing you along and you are going along for the ride. If I’m not mistaken they already told you some bs about having that info and wouldn’t give it to you which if it were me I would have requested my deposit back and went elsewhere if they cant show you anything about the truck.

If I remember correctly Toyota switches to 2022 Tacoma production during August.

Trail is not new, just updated, it was available this year as well just without the small lift and bronze wheels, but same lame coolers.

Is that a regional thing? Only SR, SR5, Sport, OR, Limited and Pro were available in 21 for me...even on Toyota site itself. I’ve never seen Trail edition trim before.

Just dropped in at the dealership to get an update on my Aug. 12 build date and found out it got pushed back a week. Also was able to get my temporary VIN. Salesman told me that I got my order in just in time (5-12) because they have since started charging over MSRP due to the high demand.

No just limited production. I think at one point and time I read they were only making like 7k of them.
