I have a 2017 and am looking for a bed cover. I like the aesthetics of a low profile and fabric material so I'm looking for some feedback on best covers on the market today

I realize that you said fabric, as I also at first thought the same thing. Do take a look at Diamondback. I'm very pleased with it as it's for the life of the truck.

That's a pretty sweet rig to go with that cover...something to think about!

Do you have a set budget to work with or is that not an issue?

LoMax was reasonably priced, easy to install, and is working fine so far.

There are still a lot of questions to be asking yourself.

Is appearance more important to you than durability? What style of opening would you prefer? Do you anticipate needing full bed access on occasions? Are you concerned about secure bed storage? Etc.

There's more to think about than you may realize. It's not just getting "the best."
It's more about finding the best one for your personal needs.

Myself, I went with the Bakflip F1 because it suited me the best.

Great post. These are exactly the same questions I asked myself as well. You will also need to consider the type of environment the cover will be exposed to and the limitations of it.

After two years of looking at the pros and cons of different covers and other people's set ups I finally settled on the Retrax Pro in aluminum.

However, if you live in a wintery climate and need full access to the bed on a regular basis, a retractable may not be suitable for you as it will freeze up. For me it is not an issue and took I this into consider when researching.

I bought the BAK MX4s Revolver. Looks awesome and seals really good. Very secure. Best thing about it is the way it rolls up to back window. Still have great view out of the rear window

Seconded for this one. I found mine on facebook martketplace for like $200. I get a lot of hail where I am so this fabric over top of the hard surface should disguise damage well. Hard cover underneath so it doesn't move at all while driving.

Money was an issue for me. I bought the Truxedo Truxsport roll up for $300. Researched and decided the price and reviews were the best bang for the buck. They make a low profile version also.
If money isnt an issue I would buy one of the roll up hard shells.

I can attest to the quality of the Lomax. They have a fabric option as well, but I have the same tri-fold hardcover and it's great. Light, easy to install, and folds up to give access to the entire bed. Not to mention the pricing is pretty fair in my opinion!

Another vote for the BAK Revolver. I had an ARE hard top on my Tundra, worked great, never got a drop of water in the bed, but moving anything tall was a PITA. So far, the Revolver has worked for me.

For my 2011 TRD OR DC I bought Access Original Roll Up.
For the new 2021 replacement TRD OR DC I am having an Access Lorado installed.
I am very happy with Access.

I'm happy with my Lund Genesis Elite, fabric trifold. The "elite" version features high-end fabric which is used worldwide for convertible tops. The fabric is made in USA by Haartz Corporation of Massachusetts. My tonneau has been on my truck since the winter of 2018. Flawless performance. 16DED326-554E-489B-AEDE-A1874F1F1A6E.jpg
