Lunar Rock Gen III Thread

Isn't that just a temporary VIN? my salesperson said it doesn't officially get the VIN until it is built. My Pro is currently scheduled for 8/16. It was allocated July 5th. Im hoping I take delivery the first 1/2 of September.

 

Sigh. Didnt even do anything fun to earn this, neighbor hit me while I was out of town (and then didn’t leave a note or anything, obviously. Unlucky for him I have 4K security cameras)

depending on what the repair estimate is, I may look for a metal bumper.

 

Dang! Sorry dude!! I bet that’ll be an uncomfortable conversation with the neighbors. Pretty sad they didn’t own up to it!!

 

What a terrible sight to see!! Poor Lunar Rock... At least a bumper upgrade would be the silver lining like you said...

 

I debated talking to them first but after watching the video and seeing them realize they hit my truck and then fled, they don’t get that courtesy.

I’ve also noticed I haven’t seen their vehicle in a few days. Probably trying to hide it from me so I don’t find the distinctive LR on their white car.

You say the won't get the 'courtesy' of a conversation - Does that mean you'll go to the cops, or just give Guido & Vinny a ring???

 

While not knowing your neighboors life situation, etc.. sure seem like douchbags to me. And as other's said, now that will always been a tension filled memory for both of you. Everyone looses, unless you get an awesome bumper replacement.

why should he give them another chance? they had the chance to own up when the hit his fucking car. people really need to stop catering to selfish assholes. let the cops/insurance deal with those pricks and give them a nice middle finger next time you see them.

How does a neighbor hit your truck in that neighborhood? Looks like everyone has at least an acre.

Would it be possible to have a body shop paint a 2021 white TRD off road to Lunar Rock color?

I saw an FJ Cruiser running around in Cement grey a few days ago.

it’s got to be a small fortune though.

 

I think the 2013 Trail Teams FJ was available in cement. Or at least a cement variant.
