Ok, i prolly missed a write up on something like this so don't kill me... Just wondering if an exhaust that from a '05 or any second gen would be the same on a 2011? I'm wondering because right now i'm looking at buying a used flowmaster exhaust from an 07 double cab long bed and i have a 2011, so would it be compatible?

As long as you have a long bed, I'm pretty sure it will fit. I just dropped off my stock exhaust off of my 2010 DCLB to a guy with a 2007 today. Do you know what brand the exhaust is?

All the hangers are the same, but the dclb exhausts are slightly longer. I think around 10" longer.

Should be the same, but you can also check flowmaster.com or magnaflow's website and check what their fit guide says.

You are right sir, i looked it up and there are only two part numbers used from 2005-2010 which i'm assuming one is for the long bed double cab and the other for the rest. I'm pretty sure the 2011 is the same even though it's not on the list yet. Thanks!

Note: there's also a difference if it's a V6 or a 4-cyl. The V6 lead pipe (the pipe from the cat to the muffler) is about 6" longer than in the 4-cyl. The flowmaster cat-back package gives this extension to you, but the magnaflow does not...I have a 4-cyl and had to cut out this ~6" out of the lead pipe.

Yea the two part numbers i saw were for the V6, there were some other part numbers for 4 cyl but i wasn't counting those. So is it just different for the long bed? Or does it apply for the extended cab or double cab short bed?? All it says on the list is 'V6' or 'Prerunner V6'

The total length of the acess cab and the double cab is the same. The extra space needed for the double cab takes up some of the bed space. Therefore, a double cab with a "short" bed is the same length as the access cab with the regular 6' bed. Therefore, the other part number is either for the regular cab or the long bed...I'm not sure if the frame is shortened or extended respectively.
