Sure it's been mentioned but gotta love that mpg increase! Never would have though adding a softopper would increase my miles per gallon but after noticing it, def makes sense.

Best purchase I have added so far.

Just got back from a 1500 mile road trip and noticed that the front window flap does not like to stay flush; the outermost front flap (not the one that velcros inside the bed) gets all bunched up after trips on the highway. Doesn't seem to create any additional exposure to water or dust but I have to climb into the bed and push it back down. I may look into adding some velcro to that section between the bed and the cab.

you could try the magnet route! someone detailed it earlier in the thread. i have already snagged waxed thread and magnets for my softopper so i can go that route on the back (and front if needed). just waiting on the softopper lol

I've gone a couple hundred miles with my Softopper fully closed and in safari mode. Gas mileage is pretty much the same as far as I can tell.

Don’t know if anyone answered this already but I bolted down both of my soft toppers.
Drilled 3 holes in the bed sides, and soft topper rails, then used some lock nuts on the bolts.
Since then I’ve never had an issue with it coming loose like the c-clamps did

Thanks for the feedback, I may eventually go this route, for now I slapped up an extra clamp on each side for peace of mind.

The bedrail "bars" the ones that get clamped down to the tops of the bed rails. If you have them positioned too close to the bed and not far enough to the outside of the truck the twist inwards towards the bed. If you are looking at them from behind the truck (standing behind the tailgate) like this : / \ instead of being | |
