Here’s the bike cave/workshop cleaned up about 99%.

Hook me up with some ideas/layouts you guys think of.

this will be solely my garage, so it’ll be all hobbies. Bikes, woodworking, probably not any automotive (that’ll be upstairs in the vehicle garage) and whatever else I get into

Got in probably one of the best rides I’ve done. Pure beauty in what locals call around the mountain. From the house, 72 miles and 4.9k of elevation, topping out at 8,500’. I wondered what the weather was going to be like when I left as the mountains were socked in with clouds. A bit misty, but beautiful setting! And - was one of the main rides I wanted to do with my Cutthroat when I bought it a few months back.

Just rode North Star. Really cool park but I only rode a few blacks just because I was solo and hadn’t ridden in a while since it was too hot for me in Phoenix. Look forward to finding others to come with me as well as a bigger bike in the next year or so. Even on the blues The bike would get overwhelmed in the high speed tech. 27.5 wheels and 130 mil travel is a thing of the past I guess.

I take it back, it still has its place just not for my do it all bike. Stoked though. I want to get down to mammoth potentially since they have a lot more blue trails. The only jump trails at north star are blacks and I’ve got next to zero jumping skill.

I finally made a bit of progress on my garage workshop. These rotating steadyracks are really nice and save a good bit of space, though definitely a bit spendy.

Two more bikes to hang and a L-shaped workbench will go in the corner at far right.

progress report. I bought this after all for $380. I’m still planning to upgrade later and just gift this to a nephew of mine, but I really just wanted to go out and ride this weekend. Hit the Fullerton loop with a buddy of mine this morning and got back. It was pretty fun and not much to complain about. I’m sure of all in love with another bike in the future, but this fits what I need it to and was in my immediate budget before I go spend stupid money lol.

I agree, I watch him religiously, but I don’t have the space he does. I’m going to have to be a bit more crafty, and I have more than biking that has to fit in there

Nice! That's a good set of descents.

How's the smoke? I was gonna go for a ride with my daughter but the parleys fire scared me off

My 1UP bike rack with extra 3rd bike tray showed up today. Only item missing was the grab handle extension which is arriving tomorrow. This thing is a beauty and lives up to the hype. Love how modular it is. Well packed, easy to unpack, only assembly needed was to add the 3rd tray which took all of 5 minutes.

Adds all of 2.5' to the end of the DCLB and 3 bikes fit in like a cool breeze in the fall.

Question for those who have one - see this first photo on the hitch lock. I cannot fit this on if I keep that black spacer on it. But with it off it does shift side to side. What is the deal? Is the spacer optional? I sit suppose to fit? Instructions do not say one way of the other.

Toss the spacer. No biggie if the lock moves. It’s just there to prevent theft, doesn’t need to be snug.

My lock is the older key style, but recycled that spacer on day 1.
