You doing it yourself or hiring it out? Not sure if wood prices are still ridiculous. I remember paying $90 for a sheet of 3/4” plywood when I did the deck of the Bayliner. Was nuts.

I get at least 17 in mine. You must be heavy footed on the skinny pedal.

I used to get 17ish. Was even hitting 20 if I was really trying...

Then I put on bumpers, winch, RTT, lift, sliders and usually roll with 250lbs worth of dog...

That'll do it. It's a heavy boy as is. The chassis alone is probably heavier than a Tacoma.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I can relate to that. I think I was something like 200 lbs over GVWR on the Colorado trip. Does wonders for mileage.

Also I saw that you can do a piggyback tune from Burger that won't show as a TD code and void your powertrain warranty (just take it off before you go in) and still bump you 45hp/45ft lb on stock hardware no bolt ons :anonymous:
*But I'm not going down that rabbit hole at all. Nope. Never. Not I no sir.

Hrrm what's a too low idle on our trucks? I'm idling at 600 rpm lately, seems too low. Can sorta feel it almost like a near stall acceleration.

I've chased high idle issue before but not a low one. Need to get my fuel trims up on the SG and start there I suppose

I think idle around 750 is normal iirc

I jacked up the front today and checked everything I could think of for play, everything seems fine. In the back of my mind I'm suspecting its something to do with the steering rack.

Have the Mrs turn the wheels on pavement while you listen and put your hands on the tie rods

I know that will make some funky sounds just based on what I occasionally hear while turning to park lol. But yeah will do. Tie rods *should* be ok, they're 1.5 years old at most (inner and outer). I'm low key worried about the rack internals tbh
