Overhead console wasted space?

    Has anyone come up with another use for the garage door opener compartment in their overhead console? Please post pics, I hate wasted space.:confused:

    I saw a pic on here somewhere..... where they mounted all the switches for fog lights, winch power, lockers, looked really good. Cant remember what thread it was??

    It's not done yet, but I am planning on removing the 'garage door opener' door from the overhead console and mounting my amateur radio transceiver control head there.

    gotcha...i'll be up there for guard the weekend of feb 4-6. need to make a weekend trip up there for the rebuild. can it all be done in a day/weekend?

    got the seals already...dunno if i'll ned the coils though. only 40k miles on em w/o a rebuild:D PM me and we'll get outta this thread.:cool:

    haha yeah, that does look clean! but my winch in and out controls wouldnt have fit..though I may use this for my lockers and air switch now..thaks for the idea.
