I love the Tacoma, but having car sets makes it a challenge. I have 2 kids 1 rear facing and the other forward facing. Rear facing takes up so much room. I’m jealous of my wife’s van.

My next kid is going to be here soon and I’m finally going to buy another seat for my forward facing kid. You happen to have any photos of this seat forward facing or how’s the room? Our current forward facing Britex is huge. The Diono options looks pretty promising as far as space goes.

i have the diono as well on the passenger side; with the chico keyfit 2 base in the middle for rear facing. as long as that rear facing is in the middle the passenger and driver seats does not have to be pushed forward.

I think the Diono sits lower which would really help for forward facing. The dang Britax seat is so thick and tall that it really starts cramping my kids legs.

For what it’s worth I ended up getting 2 Diono Radian R3s from Amazon for 199.00 each. My girl likes them and the are compact and I can actually let someone ride in the passenger seat now. Plus, her legs hang down much better.
