Nice, I really need to learn to weld, havnt welded since HS(90's) and that was DC/stick welding. I assume you have a cnc table as well. I have ample garage and shop room, I bought some welding equipment from a friend a couple years ago, haven't mess with it, I'll have take a couple pics of what I got.
I have been using my neighbors skills for all my welding needs, he welds in the oil field, but he's been laid off and on for past couple years, he is working on getting a CDL, so he might not be around anymore if he gets into the long hual trucking.

Yes, CNC plasma table. I've been building it for the last 2 years and am just now starting to get some real use out of it. It is an amazing tool to add to my fabrication equipment.

Yes I know, I have visited 3 different dealers probably dozen or more times in past couple months, hydraulic fittings are starting to become thin in inventory as well, last 2 months I have gone through 5 hydraulic hoses and 1 oring on a fitting. I now have spare hoses on everything except my lower hoses on the grapple, have yet to replace one, they are behind tubing and more protected than all the others as well.

Yep, I built is from the ground up.

If you look at the bottom of my post, there is a link to my YT channel. I have some vids of verious progress on the table build. Nothing fancy, just ramblings pretty much.

    Cool.

Sweet, thanks for noting that, would not have never known about links, cause I'm on my phone, and I don't see them in this current setting.

After 16 years I replaced the old lawn tractor. Money can't buy you happiness, but it can get you a lawn go-cart. The new machine almost makes mowing the lawn fun.

Seen a zero turn on a trailer this morning with ag tires on the back, I couldn’t help think how much grass that thing would tear up when turning hard.

Problem with zeroturns are… if soft and wet and ya got nothing to pull you out of the squishy stuff… probably make for a long day…. Ag tires maybe your best bet to run depending on your situation

And if used on more slopes, not much traction with the standard tires.

I hadn't thought about that, makes sense. I think that's the first one I've seen around here with tractor tread tires on it.

It is a real concern. I almost didn't buy mine for this reason. My property is on a slope and of course it rains.

    I have not gotten stuck.

First I don't bother mowing when raining hard or right after. When wet there are some driving and turning techniques that can and do help. No uphill cranks in a bog. No full stop L and juice R in wet (and R/L vv) etc. Just smart driving. My property does drain quickly.

Have not looked at tractor tires. So far no need.

What you guys are seeing is actually ATV tires with a chevron pattern. These are very shallow lugs. Pretty common around here.

It can be either. Companies make ags in a bunch of mower tire sizes. I like ATV tires over ags because they have softer compound and better grip. I don't like the chevron pattern because they are terrible in reverse. Switched my loader GT to Sun-F non-directional ATV tread and it's much better in reverse uphill.

    Yep.
I've noticed seat time can be very deceiving. Doubt your meter is off.

On a similar note... we found that if you leave the key in any position other than off on the new Redmax zero turn the meter will continue to run. Accidentally left the key in the accessory position after a mow, the meter was still running 3 days later. Went from ~12 to ~80 hours. That's going to jack up the maintenace cycle, might have to put a p-touch next to it; "-70 hrs". Damn meter should only run when the engine is turning
