A school bus will be dropping off a dozen or so kids there in a few weeks. And it's potentially more than one sting as they sting multiple times. Don't want to take that chance.

Edit: My sarcasm detector/meter is low on fluid and wisdom right now. Sorry I missed it.

What is the edge guard you used to cover the gap between the body and bumper?

So I finally got to use my Krazy Beaver shovel today. What a fun surprise moving trash cans into the trailer this morning. 41735.jpg
This guy chose the wrong trash can to hangout under...made quick work of it, no messing around with the dog and toddler running around these parts!

Last summer our dog accidentally stepped on a copperhead in the dark, so I'm in favor of snek execution. Her leg swole up like a balloon and it was no bueno. She powered through like an absolute badass, but a smaller dog might not have faired as well. Vet said Anti-venom was legitimately like $12,000 if it was actually needed, which is crazy expensive

not swollen here, just doggo with her legs crossed all fancy

Yeah a coworkers lab had a similar run in out in King William on their old farm, she made it through, but they said it wasn't pleasant and recall a similar $$$$ shock re: Vet costs for antivenom.

All the dumb choices in one vehicle
Eventful weekend for me this weekend:
    Saturday:
    - Replaced wheel spacers with thinner ones
    - Pulled front bumper off
    - Replaced fog lights with Amazon cheapy DOT/SAE fogs
    - Installed winch
    - Removed front lights
    - Convinced girlfriend to help me reinstall the front bumper
    - Pulled the entire gauge cluster apart to slap some electrical tape over the TPMS light

    Sunday:
"Well it should fail because of those lights, but I put in there that you took all the lights off and passed you"

"Also, how heavy are your wheels?"

So I guess I need to buy some opaque covers for my lights, but at least I don't have to worry about inspection anymore

Nice! FYI tpms light doesnt matter and isnt a factor for inspection.

Makes me wonder what the wheel weight question was about... Personal interest?

Pretty sure it was a cottonmouth that got my GSP on the lip a few weeks back. I haven't seen a copperhead around in a few years. Vet bill was only 250$ so it wasn't too bad.

Soon! I need to get a skid/knobbies for the wife’s bike. We took some dirt/gravel roads this past weekend and she seemed to do really well considering it’s been like 10 years since she’s ridden a dirt bike haha. Do you have any favorite spots near by/in the surrounding states?

Well... shit. Reading the inspection checklist it seemed like any idiot lights in the dash would cause a failure. Oh well

Yeah he had to remove a wheel to inspect the brakes, but he wasn't prepared for 120lbs between the wheel and tire. I think it was half curiosity and half complaint haha

I thought I'd fail in my 08 civic with the check engine light (one of the two cats is bad), but the dealer passed me and put on the service suggestions is to check into the "check engine light".

You never know how the state inspections can go from shop to shop.
