2005 Tacoma Prerunner already had a K&N intake Saturday after years of waiting installed Rough Country 3.5 inch lift with new struts, shocks, upper control arms and leaf springs. Cooper Discoverers P285 70 R16. 211K miles bought it in '07 with 17k miles...more to come. My Tacoma has paid me back 10's of thousands of $$$$$ time to return the favor

    2” or so lift
I had the Rancho quick lift on my truck, and the kit I got came with UCA’s and 1 1/2” blocks for the rear, truck sat perfectly level. I have since upgraded everything, again, and soon to upgrade, again

    Too many to list.

I agree with boogie. Also, be mindful that if you decide to go with Old Man Emu OME leaf packs they may be squeaky over time. I had that experience and it took me a while to find the culprit squeak leaf. Also, I had the heavy duty OME leaf pack installed so there's that... just more info for you as you're searching for a leaf pack. Good luck.

Torqued my U-bolts, pulled the R/F fender liner and intake tube (snorkel install next weekend), greased my Total Chaos upper control arms, cleaned the MAF and TB, cleaned the residual oil from the valve cover gasket leak (replace the gasket a couple weeks ago).

Why is the new throttle body gasket different from the old one? (old gasket on the right)

Took off my pos china headlights, dumped out a bunch of water, and reinstalled them without fixing.

I'd like to put a OEM takeoff set back on, but I think all of them have burned up the insides from the daylight running lights.

I needed to remove one quart of oil from my truck so I could add a bottle of Lucas Oil Treatment. I really didn’t want to get under my truck, remove drain plug, and hope I could drain only one quart. I bought this syringe with tube from Amazon. It was so much easier to do.

I use the same method to periodically swap out some power steering fluid so I can pour some fresh fluid in.

Installed some new center caps from Method because the bead grip technology ones took too much abuse. Also installed a new shift knob to change up the interior some. Had to make sure it all worked afterwards.

After having all the parts for the MESO BD3 3rd brake light sitting on my bench for over a year, I finally got it installed this weekend.

I was proactive and went a head and replaced the back housing and clips with a new OEM one. Getting the old gasket off was not too bad either.
Also, the new back housing came with a new O-Ring in the front as well, which made me feel a bit better that the MESO housing would have a better seal to the back housing.

Even the little yellow Nylon nuts have a small gasket on the back to seal against the truck :)

    IMG_0334.jpg IMG_0325.jpg

I was a bit worried with the bolts that hold the Rock Lights to the housing possibly cracking the housing over time or while running them in, so a few days prior to this (so the RTV could Dry), I first took a 4mm x .7 bottoming tap and tapped each hole, but did not go through the back. Than I put Black RTV on the back side around each of the locations

    IMG_0332.jpg

Wired it up using some T10 adapters and assembled it to the truck, sorry no pictures during this process as I was pressed for time getting everything installed with the wet Black RTV Applied.

I used small rubber washer under the head of the 2 bolts that hold the BD3 housing to the back housing that goes into the new yellow nylon nuts into the truck. Than put small dab of black RTV over the head of those bolts (Yes, was paranoid of something leaking)

Put lots of RTV on the though holes for the 2 remaining lights as I put them into the pockets and ran the 4mm bolts in

After Light was installed, and check everything worked, put a bead of black RTV all the way around the housing to seal between the truck and the housing. I Used painters tape on the truck and on the housing to keep the bead clean and small.

The lights are brighter than what the pictures shows. Sorry, no night time pictures.

I replaced my rusty bolts that hold the bed cubbies in with Stainless Steel replacements and use Anti-seize on them when installing. Though I need to paint the cubby doors now
